Position Summary:
We are looking for a candidate that has a deep growing relationship with God, active involvement in the leadership of a church, and a commitment to maintaining healthy, accountable relationships. This individual should live a Christ-honoring lifestyle marked by, servanthood, generosity, joy, a love for Bible study and prayer, a growing passion to shepherd others in their walk with God and to work effectively with many key leaders. Integrity in finances, relationships and time management is expected.

Team building, vision-casting and training leaders for ministry; ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment; excellent working knowledge of the Bible; tactical thinking with proven ability to equip leaders and organize functional structures; transformational leader of leaders; effective communicator to adults of all ages; proven effectiveness in a multi-staff setting; able to connect multi-generationally.

Expectations:
- Work with the technical director and campus worship pastor to help plan a creative, engaging and Spirit-led service each week.
- Lead weekend worship up to 46 times a year, leading weekly rehearsals for weekend worship. Schedule the band through Planning Center Online.
- Must be able to sing well, engage an audience and have a knowledge and understanding of his/her voice. Must be able to hear and teach harmonies to volunteers.
- Recruit, train, equip and empower new and current worship team members. Help develop and grow the current team members, while also looking to expand the team.
- Recruit, train, equip and empower interns and those with the potential to serve as worship leaders at Encounter or elsewhere. We want to be a church that is continually developing and raising up new leaders.
- Create a family culture within the worship team. The team should encourage, disciple, and care for one another and reflect the values that make us Encounter.
- Schedule worship team members for all Sunday morning services and other church activities that involve worship.
- Develop, propose, and oversee the worship ministry annual budget.
